LYMPNE FELLOWSHIP
Lympne Fellowship consists of members who meet together once a month for talks and social interaction (there’s plenty of that!). Our emphasis is on companionship in the community. The Fellowship traditionally has a link with the Church and we like to give our support to events such as the Church Coffee Mornings. We normally meet in the afternoon of the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Harry Margary Hall, with a programme of interesting and informative talks and activities.
Our speakers have included representatives of charities such as Guide Dogs, Porchlight and Home Farm Trust. We have also heard about being a Private Detective, have learned about local history and have been taught how to make Christmas gifts and decorations! Last year we raised over £100 for the Village Halls at the Summer Fayre. We have an annual restaurant meal and a lively Christmas Party.
There is always a report of our get-togethers in the local newsletter. We welcome new members, so we’d love you to come along to one of our meetings and consider joining.
